CUSAT CHESS CLUB
The aim of the Chess Club is to promote and popularize the intellectual game CHESS. The Club conducts various types of Chess Tournaments of its own and various types of official Chess Championships under the joint auspices of District Chess Association and the Chess Club. y.
The Department of Physical Education in association with CUSAT Chess Club is a unique Sports Organization approved by the University. The membership of the Chess Club is extended to the students, teaching and non-teaching staff (those who are in university service and retired from service) of the Cochin University of Science and Technology and wards of University staff. y.
